Bright and cheap ($22 on sale), this does exactly what I want: allow me to point out stars in the night sky. It feels fairly solid although you can tell it's a low-cost unit, but it was much cheaper than most green laser pointers.

Used for pointing out stars and constellations. Works great and this one came with an attachable "star lens" for tripping out on a ceiling.
