Set up your stand, place your magnetic discs on the plate, and watch the fun begin!! Observe how the floating magnet (the one attached to the string) is affected by the disc magnet—it will either be repelled or attracted. Then, start to add more disc magnets to the metal plate—the floating magnet will begin to move in a jittery pattern!
