Excellent prism for classroom demonstrations, science projects or as a desk toy.
This prism is made of high-quality glass and it comes with a multi-position adjustable stand that allows you to position the prism horizontally, vertically or at any angle in-between. Making a great quality rainbow is easy with this prism.
Prism is equilateral with 23mm (0.9 inches) sides and 65mm (2.5 inches) long. It measures approximately 6 inches (15cm) tall with the stand.

Weak, Very Disappointing Theresa from Washington DC I have prisms in my windows that make bright, bold bars of color on my walls. This prism does not. It barely produces any color and the color it does project is extremely weak, far from bold. I tried every angle, it's terrible. I do like the stand but my other prisms do not fit it, so that's a waste too. Very disappointing. I give this zero stars, but I do give xUmp 10 stars for great communication and super fast shipping.
Sorry about that! This prism is mostly used in a classroom setting with a highly-collimated white light source or with laser light. Nice Prism with Stand Daniel from Brazil This is a nice kit with glass prism and stand. It is easy to assembly and use.
No RAINBOWS with this Prism Gary Ensmenger from USA, FL, Orlando I own about 30 glass prisms. I enjoy the rainbows they produce from sunlight. This is the 1st prism that produces a color blob, hardly a recognisable rainbow. This prism appears to be made from glass, looks quite normal in cut and polish. I can only think that the optical grade of the glass is so poor that it does not refract the light rays properly. I liked the stand and yoke assembly, but useless without the rainbow refraction.
great prism Ronnie from Israel great for kid's,glass good prism.
