cool kit - but a little too advanced for a 10 year old

The shipping got the box to us 1 day early.
Everything seems to be in the box, and more than once, while helping my niece put it together, she said "that is so cool". It is fun to help her, but she would never be able to do it on her own.
however, read the instructions very carefully. There are screws that are 6mm, and screws that are 7mm, so you need a ruler to be able to tell the difference.
And the small screws were to difficult for a 10 year old. They required a small screwdriver, which means low torque, and I doubt a 14 or 15 year old would have the hand strength to drive those self tapping screws home.

I took 10 hr. to assemble the arm. It is easy to control by the box.
Awesome gift!

I got this for my 14-year-old nephew. He absolutely loves it! The robot is very good quality. There are a lot of small parts you need to make sure you're careful to not lose, but the manual was helpful. Fantastic to play with!
