These pens are just as full as shown in the item description photo, if you'll notice the giant air bubble floating to the top...if you lay the pen on a flat surface they look just like this...being half full shows the item as actually working when you press it against someones skin...totally full would be lame. Great pens!!!!

I like the idea behind these pens but they were only half full of coloured liquid when I received them. They don't appear to be leaking but I would be happier with the product if it was practically full as shown in the picture. Still very cool!
