This inclined plane is perfect for discovering the determination of the coefficient of kinematic and static friction, and exploring the mechanical advantage and efficiency of an inclined plane. Comprised of a hardwood inclined plane fitted with a pulley of diameter 22mm at the free end, it t is hinged to a horizontal polished wooden base which is fitted with an aluminum arc graduated both vertically and angularly. The inclined plane can be fixed at any angle up to 45° or at a suitable height with a clamping wing nut. Great for a variety of physics demonstrations.
