I have purchased 3 of these and they are great. It is hard for people to grasp the life like movement of a steel spring. Especially one that "fixes" itself after being ruined by pulling too hard as we all have done to normal springs. Kids and adults love it.
1 customer reviewsThis MuscleWire® demo spring consists of a small shape-memory alloy actuator wire (SMA wire) wound into a coil. The coil allows you to show how SMA wires work--the coil is very bendable at cooler temperatures, but returns to its original shape when it is warmed up. The coil comes with an info card explaining how to use it.
