Fun cheap gift

This is a fun cheap gift to give to someone, especially since two of them came. Definitely separate the branches and insert into the base before adding the fluid. The directions said to add the fluid first, but the cardboard base gets too weak to easily align and insert after it is wet. The "leaf" crystal structure is extremely weak once it grows, which is to be expected since it expands so much. Set the tree and base on a paper plate to catch the "leaves" for easy cleanup. Bumping the tree will knock chunks off.

I bought these as a favor for my 7 yr olds birthday party. It was a hit with girls and boys -- once people figured out what it was...Really lots of fun for people of all ages to watch grow. Our 4 yr old can't get enough of them.
