Spectroscope - Direct Vision

This hand-held spectroscope is excellent for quantitative examination of white light and radiant bodies' spectral composition. It consists of a telescoping metal tube 0.75″ (20 mm) in diameter with an adjustable slit at one end. The light passing through this slit falls on the prism inside and breaks up into an optical spectrum, which you can view through an eyepiece at the other end of the tube.
