The Variable Inertia Set is a unique lab that is simple to set up and visually demonstrates the concepts of intertia. The discs come with hollowed out compartments that are designed to house the weighted metalic balls that are included with the kit. The multiple compartments allow the user to place the weighted balls into various symmetrical or asymmetrical positions to test how inertia can either increase or decrease rotational speed based on weight positioning.
