Beautiful Fuchsite

I was looking for a birthday present for a friend. There weren't individual photos for each piece, so I knew this was a gamble. But I followed my intuition and took a chance. I ordered two so I'd have a choice. Very reasonable. The postage was more than the rock! One of the stones was absolutely for my friend's gift. And the other piece I was waggy tail happy to keep for myself. Thank you so much!

Fuchsite is a dark green variety of moscovite. It is often found in compact masses with small crystals. The green color is the result of chromium impurities.
