Fridge Rover is a magnet and wind-up vehicle all in one. Inside the clockwork mechanism is a coiled spring that is wound more tightly as you turn the handle. This stores energy in the spring (potential energy). When you let go, the spring uncoils, releasing the energy again, and making the wheels turn (kinetic energy). Bought this for my grand nephews as a little something for Easter (truth be told, I bought an extra one for myself to play with!) We enjoyed watching it do its thing on both the refrigerator as well as the floor. Lots of fun and stood up to some abuse from one of our cats and still works!
