Bring the Planets Closer

Great kit to build and explain the solar system to a child. Ours was a little young for the painting, so grandma did it. He was so excited to see the planets floating over his bed. And the glow in the dark paint made it even more special. Would love to share a pic of the finished project, but no means to attach a file.

I bought this for my husband to use in his classroom. I was pleasantly surprised. The planets are molded plastic. They're textured to give a better effect than you'd get with styrofoam balls. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the size of the sun is out of proportion. It's a bit small. We ended up buying a larger styrofoam ball to use for the sun. Other than that, it's great.

I thought these would have been painted but never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that they would want me to paint them myself. They wouldn't resemble anything like what they are supposed to. I was actually really excited about this until I saw that.
