Litmus paper is a crucial supply for any laboratory, and is used in classrooms of all grade levels. These one hundred neutral strips of litmus paper can be used to determine the pH category of a substance. By way of a mixture of dyes extracted from lichens, they tell you whether the substance is acidic or basic. If the substance is a base, the paper will turn blue.
