The fossils in this collection were discovered in an area on the norther tip of Africa, where Morocco and the Sahara desert now are. They used to be under shallow seas. These fossils are believed to be from the late Cretaceous era, making them approximately 60 million years old! The collection includes fish vertebrae, sting ray mouth plates, and shark teeth, as well as a small key with fossil facts for identifying which is which. An excellent introduction to the world of fossils and a unique stocking stuffer.
