Bug vacuum works very well, but found that sucking a bug out of dirt can result in dirt thrown at face by the impellers of the fan. This happened while making sure the bug was all the way in to the vacuum while holding it up to see. I used a half a styrofoam cup to create a cowell around the impellars to shield the dirt thrown. Glued on with silicone.
