The Galileo Thermometer is a uniquely styled tool that displays the temperature of it's current environrment using capsules containing different mixtures of mineral oil, isopropyl alcohol, and food coloring. This 17-inch high model has 10 capsules and is accurate for a temperature range between 15C (60F) and 35C (96F), all while giving visual demonstrations of liquid density and bouyancy.

Be careful! If broken, the colored liquid mixtures in the capsules will stain fabric and carpet.
