The top of the Petri dish I received had a diameter about 1/2" greater than the bottom and the rims of both dishes were uneven (see product pic), therefore it was impossible to create a good enclosure. They were unusable for my mini-cloud chamber experiment. The top dish literally "popped" apart when just the rim came in contact with dry ice. This dish was inexpensive and I got what I paid for.
