Captain ROAM-E-O is an intrepid and courageous planetary explorer who has suspended his mission to navigate the rugged terrain of Mars in search of water, in order to return to his native soil and entertain the children of Earth.  ROAM-E-O is an all-terrain solar vehicle, equipped with a 6-wheel mechanical suspension and 4-wheel drive system that allows him to traverse unforgiving landscapes with ease, as he rumbles over rocks, careens around curves, and soaks up the sun's energy to facilitate his masterful movement.  With 67 assembly parts, building and playing with ROAM-E-O will teach children self-reliance, hand-eye and building competence, and basic principles surounding mechanical transmission, electrical motor theory, and solar energy.  The kit is ideal for a do-it-yourself science fair, after-school, or summer workshop project.  Captain ROAM-E-O is an excellent summertime companion for out-of-this-world adventures; your mission awaits!
