This is an excellent introductory kit that allows you to explore circuitry, electronics, and soldering all while completing a fun experiment that yields a small flashing LED, programmed by the circuit you've just built!  Includes full-color instructions, a copper pcb board, battery connector, and all the electornic components you need to get started, save for a soldering iron and a 9V battery.  Makes for a fun and illuminating science fair project for aspiring electronic or robotic researchers.

nothing but praise for this item. it works down to 3 volts. i used them for flashers for ho train signals. you have to adjust the resistors depending on the led colors.
