This apparatus is used to demonstrate and study the motion and behavior of gas molecules. It includes a transparent cylinder with a vibration platform, small steel balls and a styrofoam float. Once the vibration platform is engaged, the steel balls start bouncing and pushing the floating plug upwards. Intensity of vibrations can be adjusted with an included potentiometer.

Requires a 4 to 12 V DC power supply (or battery pack).
