Chrysocolla, or hydrated copper silicate, is used as a minor ore of copper, an ornamental stone and specimens for collectors with it’s unique blue-green colors. Chrysocolla is found in copper rich ore bodies. It is sometimes found agatized, and swirled with sparkling crystals. Can be mistaken for turquoise.
This high-quality specimen is approx 2-3 inches big! Great for classroom or science project use.
