This may be used as an isolated charge sphere or may be grounded to the base of the generator, thus intensifying the arc discharges by the addition of capacitance. A flexible grounding lead with banana plug and alligator clip is included.
This discharge electrode can be used with the Winsco Van de Graaff Generator (see below in related products.)
