The MudWatt is a fun, educational science kit which uses the natural microorganisms found within ordinary dirt to generate electricity! In the span of a few days, the unit's LED light will start to blink, powered solely by the energy created by bacteria found in your dirt. In about a week, you will be able to use the built-up energy from the bacteria to power a digital clock and thermometer, all without the assistance of batteries!
