pH paper is used to measure the acidity or base of substances. It is measured on a scale of 1 to 14; 1 being most acidic, 14 being most base, and 7 being perfectly neutral. There are many household items which can be measured. For example, lemon juice is an acid, whereas kitchen soap is a base. Have fun testing other substances with this small vial consisting of approximately 100 pH paper strips and a color-coded pH range chart. Great for use at home, in science projects, in the classroom or at the lab, there’s plenty of paper to go around, and countless experiments to conduct!
